Penang International Dental College (PIDC) is a premier institution of higher learning located in Penang, Malaysia. Founded in 2006, PIDC has quickly established itself as one of the leading dental colleges in the region, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dental science. The institution has trained close to 800 dental surgeons since its inception.

Students will pursue their first two (2) years of clinical studies at Saujana Putra Campus, MAHSA University, and final three (3) years of clinical training at Penang International Dental College, Butterworth Campus, Penang.
PIDC also has a strong research program, with a number of faculty members actively engaged in various research projects. The college encourages its students to participate in research activities and provides them with the necessary resources and support to do so. The college also has collaborations with a number of universities and research institutions around the world, providing students with opportunities to gain international exposure and experience.
Among such collaboration is with Arany Lab, Department of Oral Biology, University at Buffalo, USA for an international dental research collaboration on light therapy. The collaboration is aimed at enabling clinical translational research for the use of Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy in dentistry and supportive cancer care in Malaysia and provide PIDC students and faculty an opportunity for research experience
PIDC also houses a full-fledge dental centre, offering holistic dental care. The dental clinic has been fully operational for the past fourteen (14) years and played a major role in the development of oral health care, especially for patients who are from the lower income group, the physically and mentally challenged groups and senior citizens.
