The recognition by QS is a sign of the university’s commitment to pursue the best teaching and learning strategy for the institution.

This is evident in its recent 5-star QS rating for Online Learning, one of the few Asian universities to receive such a rating.

That is especially important with the education industry and society in general wading into uncharted territory due to the global pandemic COVID-19.

All activities were halted as part of the Movement Control Order (MCO) announced by the Malaysian government in March.

Activities on campus also were canceled and all hostels were cleared.

Universities and schools have been closed or asked to change its operations to accommodate efforts to slow the spread of the virus. Many students and parents have been forced to stay at home as part of that effort.

Even with the threat of COVID-19 subsiding, institutions and students will need to adapt to the new way of pursuing education.

The increase in ranking and the 5-Star rating clearly show Taylor’s commitment to providing the highest quality of education to students.

Indeed, its faculty has been enhancing its interaction with students through its Blended Learning approach.

With the Blended Learning approach, students can access lecture and tutorial videos, assignments and examinations, library resources and even career services.

With the MCO now relaxed, more activities are being scheduled.

However, Taylor’s will continue to adopt the Blending Learning approach to help students maximise their academic experience.
