Q: So, what type of work do you do at Uni Enrol?
Consultant: I am a Study Abroad consultant! My main focus these days is helping my students identify their top priorities and walking them through the pros and cons of studying overseas. Ultimately, it’s all about helping students plan ahead of time so they aren’t caught off guard.
Q: Can you be a bit more specific? What does the process look like?
Consultant: Well, this is not my first rodeo! I provide students with a full, comprehensive checklist. It covers everything you need to know: what to do and what not to do from the pre-application stage all the way through to post-application.
Q: Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. How much does it cost to study abroad?
Consultant: For many families, it requires a huge budget. We like to be realistic and look closely at your options. For example, many students don’t realize that local foundation programmes might not be 100% transferable overseas. We help you navigate those nuances so you aren’t wasting time or money.
Q: What else do I need to prepare to study abroad?
Consultant: The absolute basics first: I always remind my students to make sure their passport is actually valid before they try to fly off!
