The Civil Engineering course here also doesn’t require students to take Science in A Levels (if they choose this pathway).
Students will go through project-based learning, and their syllabus integrates engineering science with practical projects. Students will also go through a faculty-wide week-long industry-led project as part of their second year. The initiative, called Engineering: You’re Hired, will involve students working in interdisciplinary teams, enhancing their industrial and soft skills to prepare them better for their careers.
Engineering is essential to the UK’s economy, and the University of Sheffield has gone all in to ensure that high-quality, well-employed future engineers are produced. Here’s where The Diamond comes in.
