Study In Australia Student Interview | Gwyneth

Are you dreaming of a Study Abroad adventure but feeling overwhelmed by the transfer processes, visa applications, and university choices? You are definitely not alone!

In our latest student feature, we caught up with Gwyneth Tee, an ambitious student who successfully navigated the credit transfer pathway to Study in Australia. With a little help from her friends at Uni Enrol, Gwyneth is packing her bags and heading Down Under!

If you want to know what it really takes to transition from studying locally to a top-tier global university, check out our exclusive Q&A with Gwyneth below.

Interviewer: Hi Gwyneth! Let’s start with your academic journey. What were you studying initially, and what are you transitioning to?

Gwyneth: Hi everyone! Initially, I was studying for a Bachelor of Business and Commerce. But for my credit transfer to Australia in 2025, I will be pursuing a Bachelor of Banking and Finance at Monash University Australia!

Interviewer: That is a huge and exciting move! What specific criteria were the most important to you when selecting a university for your transfer?

Gwyneth: The most important thing for me was finding a university with a highly reliable twinning program. Secondly, I wanted a university that had a very high global ranking.

Interviewer: With so many options out there, how did you figure out the best pathway for yourself?

Gwyneth: While I was searching Google, I came across Uni Enrol, which is how I reached out to Kit, a Study Abroad Consultant.

Kit gave me a lot of different university options that offer twinning programs. Ultimately, I chose Monash University Australia because of its high ranking and its well-structured transfer pathway. It made it incredibly easy for me to transfer!

Interviewer: Visa applications can be the most stressful part of studying overseas. How long did it take for you to finally get your student visa?

Gwyneth: It took me around 1 to 2 months. There was a lot of process involved! After I submitted my application the first time, they actually requested additional documents.

I had to provide things like:

  • A Biometrics Health Test
  • A Personal Statement
  • My Parents’ Bank Statements
  • …and a lot of other things!

Thankfully, Kit helped me get every single requirement done, one by one.

Interviewer: It sounds like you had a great support system! Any final words about your experience?

Gwyneth: I really want to give a massive shoutout to Kit! Thank you so much for being so patient with me. I had a lot of demands and a lot of requests, but he was very, very patient and helped me through every single process. Thank you so much!
