Sentral College was established in 2002 and has been serving students from the state of Penang and the northern region of Malaysia. It aims to provide affordable higher education qualification for deserving students.

For its degree courses, Sentral College partnered with the University of Salford UK, which is ranked on the QS World University Ranking. Graduates of the degree courses will receive certifications from University of Salford.
In 2013, the institution became the first ACCA programme provider in the northern region to receive the Platinum Approved Learning Partner Status from ACCA which is only awarded to providers who have proven their track record in providing quality graduates.

2.1 Sentral College Campus Review
Location and Surrounding Vibe: The campus is a 14-storey building located in Georgetown on Penang Island, at the corner of the intersection between Bishop Road and Penang Road. There are lots of places you can have your meals within walking distance.
The campus itself has an inviting library, several computer labs and a spacious student lounge. A simulation room was built for early childhood education students to hone their practical skills and application.
Ease of Accessibility to Campus: Being in the heart of the capital city, accessibility to the campus is pretty convenient by car or bus routes. The college also provides a multi-storey carpark for students and visitors at an affordable rate.

Sentral College offers off-campus accommodation within walking distance from the campus or via the college’s van service.
Separate housing is provided for male and female students. You can expect all the conveniences like Wi-Fi access, CCTV systems with smart card access, 24-hour support from live-in housemaster, shared pantry, shared washing area with washing machine and dryer.

PTPTN Financial Aids
Malaysian students can apply for the National Higher Education Fund or PTPTN which is responsible for giving loans to students pursuing tertiary education. PTPTN falls under the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education.
You can borrow from RM3,400 to a maximum of RM50,000 per annum depending on the level and type of course you are taking. PTPTN only charges an annual interest rate of about 1%.

Sentral College’s Business diploma and degree courses have unique highlights such as
- Project Management, Small Business Management, and Supply Chain Management modules are part of the courses which is not necessarily available in other university curricula.

- Throughout the 3-year degree course, you can choose up to 3 elective clusters from these options: Marketing, Enterprise Systems, Human Resources and Finance.

Software Engineering Studies

Sentral College’s BSc (Hons) Software Engineering 3+0, awarded by the University of Salford upon completion equips students with deep technical skills in programming and end-to-end systems development.

Tourism Management
Being in the heart of Penang, a top destination for tourism from both local and international visitors, hospitality is a trade that is well and alive.
You can study Diploma in Tourism Management and polish your abilities as a professional tour guide or work in any part of the hospitality industry. You will be covering domain knowledge of tour agency business models, cruise business management, transportation operations, travel systems used, your guiding skills, and tourism law.
During the 2.5-year duration of the course, you will enjoy various field trips and be placed for industrial training.
Upon graduation, you can easily obtain your tourist guide license and represent Malaysia professionally.
Early Childhood Education
The Diploma and Bachelor in Early Childhood Education provided by Sentral College has been one of Sentral College’s more popular courses.
The degree is awarded by HELP University which is Malaysia’s most well-known university for Psychology studies and also its Education studies.
