Angel (Host): Hello! Let’s start with a quick introduction. What are you currently studying here at IMU University?
Student: I am studying BBA with Healthcare Management! BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration.
Angel: That sounds like a very unique blend of subjects! Can you tell us what your absolute favourite module (or subject) has been so far?
Student: For me, my favourite module so far was definitely the Healthcare Management module, where we got to study and learn how to manage actual hospitals!
We visited two hospitals and a clinic, which helped us understand what goes behind running a multi-billion dollar hospital and stuff. It was really cool!
Angel: Wow! Which hospital did you get to visit? And how was that experience for you personally?
Student: We went to KPJ! I had a lot of fun because I actually grew up in the environment of hospitals. My sister is a doctor, so I have seen a lot of it, and it is really interesting to me.
Angel: That is so cool! Did your sister inspire you to pursue this career in the healthcare industry?
Student: Definitely! Because my parents actually wanted me to be a doctor… but I couldn’t study science like that! [Laughs] So, you are familiar with the healthcare sector, but you chose something a little bit less science-heavy and went for a business degree instead.
