Studying Engineering at the University of Wollongong opens a student’s horizons! Within the first year itself, students have a chance to expose themselves to all study areas, before choosing from a range of 11 majors. 

Students will also experience hands-on learning in the classroom, with the help of a wide range of technologies, media and tools. The University of Wollongong also provides students with purpose built facilities such as:

Students will also study at the University of Wollongong’s deemed “home of sustainability”, where students can focus on using the skills learnt in the classroom to research on how to make built environments more sustainable, resilient, and effective places to live and work. Upon completion of studies, students will receive a degree that is accredited by Engineers Australia, which is part of the Washington Accord. Being a part of the Washington Accord allows engineers to practice in affiliated countries, which includes Malaysia!

The University of Wollongong’s School of Learning emphasises learning through, practice, which is why students will conduct over 840 hours of work-based placements during their time studying. These placements will be conducted in hospitals, aged care and community facilities.

There is also an opportunity to participate in a wide range of volunteer and enrichment activities with the community, which can assist them in developing real-world skills as well!

Studying Accounting at the University of Wollongong makes you a student of an AACSB Accredited University, putting you in a Top 6% Business School.
