Quest International University Campus Tour | Campus Unboxing

Quest International University Campus Tour _ Campus Unboxing

Many students dream of studying medicine or pharmacy, but the fear of expensive tuition fees often holds them back. Fortunately, a hidden gem located in Ipoh offers top-tier medical education without breaking the bank! Recently, Uni Enrol’s Chloe teamed up with Gwyn, the Senior Manager of Student Recruitment, to kick off an exciting tour at the Quest International University campus.

Let’s dive into part one of this amazing QIU campus tour at No.227, Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun, 30250 Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The “Disneyland” of the Medical World

The tour naturally begins at the highly acclaimed Faculty of Medicine. The building was newly renovated just last year, making the entire place look incredibly shiny and modern. In fact, it is so impressive that the host playfully dubs it the “Disneyland of the medical world”!

  • Anatomy Dissection Hall: This advanced lab allows students to get up close and personal with actual human anatomy. Students literally get hands-on experience examining real human organs, like brains and lungs, to fully understand how the body works.
  • Pathology Resource Centre: Before touching real human bodies, students visit this stunning “treasure trove”. The room is filled with real human specimens encased in glass, providing a safe and comprehensive environment to learn about different diseases and body parts.

Interactive Clinical and Pharmacy Labs

The Quest International University campus is clearly designed to prioritise practical, hands-on learning.

  • For aspiring doctors and nurses, the Clinical Skills Lab and Mock Ward provide a dynamic and highly energetic simulation space to practice patient care using medical mannequins.
  • Right across the hall is the Pharmacy Pilot Plant. Here, pharmacy students get to step into a realistic manufacturing environment to experience the actual process of formulating and making medications.

High-Tech Science Facilities

Beyond medicine, the QIU campus is packed with high-tech equipment that will surely broaden your horizons. The Tissue Culture Room is dedicated to cultivating and researching advanced biotechnology, while the beautifully designed Food Science Lab utilises modernised equipment to conduct in-depth research on food and nutrition.

Convenient Transport and Cosy Hostels

Navigating the Quest International University campus is an absolute breeze. Students have access to a highly convenient shuttle bus and van service that operates every 15 minutes, safely transporting them to any destination around the university.

When it comes to accommodation, Quest International University offers two excellent hostels. One is conveniently located nearby, while the other is situated near the famous Lost World of Tambun—and yes, both options come with full bus transportation!

This incredible campus tour is just getting started. Stay tuned for Part 2, where the unboxing continues with a look at the Arts and Sciences faculties and the best spots to just hang out and relax!

A Creative and Culinary Adventure: Quest International University Campus Tour (Part 2)

Welcome back to part two of the exciting QIU campus tour! After exploring the highly advanced medical facilities, Uni Enrol’s Chloe and QIU’s Senior Manager Gwyn continue their campus tour by crossing the street to check out the main building and teaching block at the Quest International University campus in Ipoh. Let’s unbox the rest of this amazing university!

Engineering and Innovation

For students who love math and science, the Engineering PIT is an absolute dream come true. It is filled with advanced machinery and cool “big toys” to practice with. Here, Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science students gather at the Innovation Hub to collaborate and actively turn their creative ideas into reality.

Media and Culinary Arts

The QIU campus also caters beautifully to creative and hospitality students:

  • Buzz Hub: Mass communication students have full access to top-notch recording and photography studios. They even run their very own agency called Ad. U, allowing them to master real-world client communication skills before graduating.
  • Envee Fine Dining Restaurant: Located on the ground floor, hospitality students utilise this beautiful restaurant space, along with a mock hotel room and commercial kitchens, to gain practical, hands-on experience in the culinary arts.

Modern Study and Hangout Spots

To ensure students learn comfortably and can easily make friends, Quest International University intentionally keeps its class sizes small. When classes are over, students love to “lepak” (hang out) in the Student Lounge or relax in bright, comfortable lecture spaces like The Curve.

The crown jewel of this Quest International University campus tour is the recently renovated library. It is an absolute beauty, featuring a dedicated Postgraduate Room with independent study pods that serve as a true self-study paradise. With a lower cost of living than Kuala Lumpur, delicious campus food at La Place, and rich learning resources, Quest International University is truly an ideal choice for higher education.
