🎬 Welcome to the Digital Media Centre
The tour kicked off inside the state-of-the-art Digital Media Centre at APU. If you want to take a top-tier Visual Effects course in Malaysia, having access to the right facilities is crucial. 🎥 Film Production vs. Visual Effects: What’s the Difference?
A common question students ask is how this degree differs from a traditional film production course.
Mr Lai explained it perfectly: A degree in film production typically handles the physical, on-set elements like operating cameras, setting up lighting, designing physical sets, and directing actors.
On the other hand, those who study Visual Effects at APU are heavily focused on post-production. VFX artists take that original live-action footage and extend its reality by seamlessly combining it with CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). They build the incredible worlds, creatures, and explosive effects that cannot be captured with a standard camera lens.

💻 Mastering the 3D Pipeline
