1. Introduction
Since its inception with its inaugural college in Singapore in 1990, Raffles Education has expanded its reach, now offering a comprehensive range of educational services through a widespread network of 16 institutions spanning across 9 countries in Asia Pacific and Europe. These countries include Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, and the People’s Republic of China.
In Malaysia, Raffles established 2 entities being Raffles University in Johor and Raffles College in Kuala Lumpur. Raffles College of Higher Education (Kuala Lumpur) was the first in Malaysia and was established since 1994. Raffles University was formed much later in 2011 through a joint venture between Raffles Education Group and a Malaysian entity, Iskandar Investment Group.
The Raffles Education brand has built a strong reputation in Fashion Design and creative arts in general. Location and Surrounding Vibe: Situated in the Medini Iskandar neighbourhood, Raffles University’s campus is also within the EduCity Iskandar Johor ecosystem where other local and foreign-based university campuses are dotted around.
The campus is set in a relatively new township, surrounded by modern and new public infrastructures and commercial buildings. On campus, there is a student lounge, pantry area, 7-11 convenience store, restaurant and car park spaces.
The Atrium serves as a central hub for social interactions between students from different faculties where a variety of activities are organised by student clubs.

Ease of Accessibility to Campus: You can reach the campus by car. There is a reasonable amount of parking space in and around the campus. There are various F&B options and a supermarket at Intermark Building, just a 5-minute walk from the campus.

Shuttle service, car rental and electric scooters are available from EduCity Village to other main areas within the hub making the commute a breeze.
Room rates range from RM450 to RM1,100 per room, per month depending on configurations the type of rooms and number of occupants sharing (quad, triple, twin or single occupancy). Every unit has a common kitchen and some will have a washing machine. Scheduled cleaning services are also provided.

PTPTN Financial Aids
Malaysian students can apply for the National Higher Education Fund or PTPTN which is responsible for giving loans to students pursuing tertiary education. PTPTN falls under the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education.
