Nursing
If you have been reading this guide, you might “hear” us talk about the Nursing facilities around Deakin. The University is QS #11 for the subject and Australia’s largest nursing school. Specialised facilities are available at the Melbourne Burwood, Warrnambool and Geelong Waterfront campuses. (Basically, almost all campuses have them.) Hear it from one of the University’s students about the simulated environment.
As mentioned in the video, you get real-world experience in your education. Your nursing degree combines theory AND hands-on studies. If you are in your first year, the curriculum includes 800 hours of clinical practicals.
