Where Broadcasting Dreams Come True. The tour kicks off with spaces that would make any media practitioner swoon.
- Broadcast and Recording Studio: This room is fully equipped with a professional audio mixing system, top-tier microphones, and broadcast lighting. Students can book this space to record their own podcasts, run live sessions, invite special guests, or even try their hand at ASMR!
- The Editing Room: After recording a masterpiece, students head over to the dedicated editing suite, which is lined with a fleet of brand-new iMacs ready to handle heavy video and audio rendering.
- Tech-Forward Classrooms You will never have to worry about missing a lecture here! The tour took a quick stop at the campus Auditorium, which features a very clever piece of technology. Sitting right in the audience is a sleek 360-degree camera (which Angel totally mistook for a water bottle!). This smart camera records the entire class in real-time, allowing students to access virtual classes online and review everything they might have missed. Surviving the AI Era with Dr. Ben. The final stop is the simplified, digitalised Podcast Room under the School of Arts and Social Sciences, where Angel caught up with the Course Director, Dr Ben.
