1. Introduction
Imperium International College (Imperium) was formerly named HELP College of Arts and Technology (HELP CAT) and was acquired by MAA Group which operates several education businesses including St John’s International School and Pusat Tuisyen Kasturi.
As part of its degree offerings, Imperium International College collaborates with Anglia Ruskin University from the UK and Fort Hays State University from the United States to provide bachelor programmes for study areas in Business, Accounting, Hospitality and Computer Science. The college also holds the ACCA Platinum Approved Learning Partner status.
Students who wish to pursue these programmes can progress seamlessly from Imperium’s home-grown Foundation and Diploma programmes, which are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), a statutory body in Malaysia set up under the Malaysian Qualifications Act 2007 to accredit academic programs provided by educational institutions providing higher education and facilitate the accreditation and articulation of qualifications.
Imperium works closely with The Budimas Charitable Organisation to award scholarships for deserving students and to-date has given out approximately RM 2 million worth to high achievers, sports scholars, and many others.

2.1 Imperium International College Campus Review
The Imperium Campus is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre at Fraser Business Park. The campus is fully furnished with key facilities you need such as lecture rooms, technology-equipped classrooms, mock hotel suites, in-house industrial-grade kitchen, computer labs and so on.

A link bridge directly connects the campus to the Chan Sow Lin LRT train station which can bring you to various entertaining spots throughout KL such as the Pavillion KL Mall, KLCC or Pasar Seni. Travelling to the campus via the LRT station is also very convenient and safe if you are living outside of Kuala Lumpur.
2.2 Learning Resources
Various learning resources and facilities for a conducive learning environment await you at the campus. There is a student lounge area with games such as pool and foosball. Also an indoor gymnasium with cardio and weight-lifting equipment to keep you physically and mentally active.

Most students like to explore what Kuala Lumpur has to offer during their free time. If you want to get some fresh air right after classes, the iconic Lake Gardens Park and Titiwangsa Park located in KL are also reachable by LRT.
2.4 Imperium International College, Student Accommodation
If you need student accommodation near the campus, Imperium is able to facilitate your lodgings. The room rate is between RM350 to RM600 per room, per month including utilities (capped at RM37.50 per student). Rooms are mainly quad-sharing with double-decker beds.
Comfort facilities include air-conditioning, fans, TV, refrigerator, microwave, common kitchen, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, and weekly housekeeping. The apartment has a swimming pool and gymnasium downstairs as well.

PTPTN Financial Aids
Malaysian students can apply for the National Higher Education Fund or PTPTN which is responsible for giving loans to students pursuing tertiary education. PTPTN falls under the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education.
You can borrow from RM3,400 to a maximum of RM50,000 per annum depending on the level and type of course you are taking. PTPTN only charges an annual interest rate of about 1%.

3.4 Popular Courses Review At Imperium International College
Business Studies
Imperium provides business courses with specialisations such as marketing, management and business administration to choose from.
For its Marketing degree and Business Management degree, you will be awarded with a certificate from Anglia Ruskin University, UK. Anglia Ruskin is a Top 550 ranked university in the world by the QS World University Rankings.
As part of the course, you will be involved in a final-year project, a 3-month internship and also community services.
Unlike most universities, which make this optional, Imperium infuses resume preparation, job-hunting, and using social media to enhance your professional profile into the course.
Students can also opt for another degree option which is a 4+0 Bachelor of Business Administration with Hays State University, USA. You can start this degree right after SPM/IGCSE or equivalent and complete it fully in Malaysia.
Under this programme, there are certain majors you can choose such as Management, Finance or International Business and Economics, which entail certain modules you have to take. Alternatively, this degree also allows you to choose your own modules/subjects.
